Our track record, graded
Every day we record the buy/wait verdict shown on every product — then grade it against what the price actually did over the next 30, 60, and 90 days. A buy was right if the price never got meaningfully cheaper (more than 2% below) in the window. A wait was right if it did. No review site publishes its own hit rate; we think that’s exactly why you should want one that does.
At 30 days
When we said buy, the price stayed put or rose within 30 days in 965 of 1003 graded calls (96%). When we said wait, a meaningfully lower price showed up within 30 days in 29 of 80 graded calls (36%) — 30 days is a short window for a category where sale cycles run months, which is why our wait verdicts say “drops ~N times a year,” never “drops this month.” The 60- and 90-day grades below fill in as their windows close.
| Window | Verdict | Right | Wrong | Accuracy | Awaiting grade |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 30 days | Buy | 965 | 38 | 96% | 922 |
| 30 days | Wait | 29 | 51 | 36% | 1843 |
| 60 days | Buy | 0 | 0 | — | 1927 |
| 60 days | Wait | 0 | 0 | — | 1923 |
| 90 days | Buy | 0 | 0 | — | 1927 |
| 90 days | Wait | 0 | 0 | — | 1923 |
3,850 verdicts recorded since 2026-06-21. Grades post automatically the day each window closes — including the misses. Methodology: a verdict is graded against the lowest recorded price in the window after the call, from the same daily price history that powers every page here.
