Terms of Use
Espresso Steals is run by Arche LLC. These terms cover the website, the public read-only API at /api/v1, and the MCP server at /api/mcp. Using any of them means you accept them. They are short because the service is simple.
What the service is
We publish price information about espresso equipment sold on Amazon.com: the current price, its recorded history, and a BUY call when today’s price is a verified low against that history. We grade every call we publish afterwards and show the results on our track record page.
What it is not
- Not a guarantee. Prices change at any time. Every figure carries the date we observed it; confirm the live price before you buy. A BUY call is our reading of the history, not a promise about the future, and when a product is not at a low we make no call at all.
- Not a store. We sell nothing and process no payments. Purchases happen on Amazon or another retailer, under their terms.
- Not financial or professional advice. Decide for yourself; the history is there so you can.
Affiliate links
Links to Amazon are affiliate links. If you buy through one we may earn a commission at no cost to you. Our calls are computed from price history and are never changed by that. Details are in our affiliate disclosure.
Using the API and the MCP server
- Free for any use, with attribution: “price data: espressosteals.com”.
- No key is required. Be reasonable with request rates and cache responses for 15 minutes.
- Quote prices with their observation date, and say so when the response flags the data as stale.
- Do not misrepresent our calls, present our data as your own measurement, or use the service to send unsolicited email. A price watch may only be set with the email address of the person asking for it.
- We may change or withdraw endpoints; additive changes to v1 are the norm and renames are not.
Price watches and email
When you set a price watch, you are asking us to email that address about that product. Each email carries an unsubscribe link. How we handle the address is in our privacy policy.
No warranty, limited liability
The service is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, Arche LLC is not liable for any loss arising from use of the site, the API, the MCP server, or a purchase made after reading them. Nothing here limits rights you have under law that cannot be limited.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date at the top is the version in force. Questions go to [email protected].
