Should you wait for October Prime Day?

We tracked this catalog through the last two Prime events — July’s Prime Day and last October’s Big Deal Days. Below is what each machine and grinder actually did, measured against its own typical price in the month before the event. Not folklore, not “up to 40% off” banners — recorded prices.

The honest headline

Of 132 tracked machines, grinders, and brewers with Prime-event history, 58 dropped 5% or more during at least one of the last two events — and 74 basically didn’t move. Prime Day is real for some espresso gear and theater for the rest, which is why a per-product answer beats a blanket “wait for it.”
