Will Black Friday actually be cheaper? We measured last year’s.

We tracked 73 espresso machines, grinders, and brewers through last year’s Black Friday week. The median real discount against October prices was 11.8% — real, but far from the “70% OFF” banners. And the number nobody tells you: 24 of 73 are already at or below their last-Black-Friday low today. For those, waiting until November buys nothing.

What to do before November

If a product is in the “cheaper or equal now” column, today’s price already beats last year’s Black Friday — check its live verdict and buy on a genuine low instead of a calendar date. For everything else, set a free price alert: we’ll email you if it drops to a real low before or during the sale, so you never have to trust a banner.
